At Cheshire and Merseyside Integrated Care System (ICS), protection of your data (as a patient, family member, carer or visitor) is a key priority for us and we take this responsibility very seriously.
In carrying out our day to day activities we are required by law to make sure that we adhere to amongst other things, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
We take our legal responsibilities very seriously and we aim to ensure the personal information we obtain is held, used, transferred and otherwise processed in accordance with the law.
We promise to respect any personal data you share with us, or that we get from other organisations, and keep it safe.
We aim to be clear when we collect your data and not do anything you wouldn’t reasonably expect.
We will not pass on your details to any other government department or third party unless you have given us permission to do so, or if the law requires us to.
We will ensure when developing and using technology that your privacy and personal data is protected.
