NHS careers session for care leavers

During National Care Leavers Week, NHS Cheshire and Merseyside will be hosting an online event for care leavers. The event has been designed with care-experienced young people and will provide helpful information about working in the NHS. The event will cover:
- what sorts of jobs are available in the NHS – there are over 300 varied roles
- care experienced people - our journey into the NHS
- choosing careers in the NHS - which career are you better suited to
- making the most of your experience when applying for NHS jobs – it isnt just about qualifications
- routes into the NHS
- how to find jobs in the NHS and how to apply for a job
